The Dominion Companies Computer Recycling Program
Dominion Repair Service Inc, in concert with the President's No Child Left Behind program, recycles corporate contributions of surplus computers, monitors and printers.
Our program, Computers For LA's Disadvantaged Youth, takes these contributions, cleans, tests and repairs them, and in conjunction with several local community service organizations, places them in the homes of needy youths in the lower Alexandria area of Fairfax County.
In addition to supplying the computers, Dominion Repair Service sets up the computers in the selected home and includes one hour of introductory computer training to the recipient.
As of February 1, 2008, Dominion Repair Service has placed 149 computers and peripherals in the Computers For LA's Disadvantaged Youth program.
If your company has surplus computers, monitors and printers that you would like disposed of in both a civic friendly and environmentally responsible manner, please call our office today to make pick-up arrangements - (703) 768-3510.
The minimum processor speed currently being accepted is PIII 1GHz CPU . (Monitors and printers are only accepted when accompanied by a computer.)
Dominion Repair Service does not charge for this service as long as the donated items meet our criteria for recycling. Please join us in this worthwhile community project by calling today.
